| We All Have A Personality - So Why Dont We Show It
People have written me saying that they are afraid to write.
Well, guess what? Most people are afraid to write. They say - no
one would be interested in what they have to say.
Let me ask you this: Do you have a wife or husband, a girl
friend or boy friend? Well, they must have been interested in
what you have to say or they wouldn't want to be around you.
Sure, there are people who are not interested in what you have
to say, but there are always others who do want to hear what you
have to say. They do want to know you, be friends with you.
Know why? Because these people are like you. Your kind of
people. That's called your 'niche'. People who are like you,
think the way you do. Laugh at the same jokes. Like the same
food and lifestyle.
So if you want to write an article, as in a newsletter or ezine,
be yourself. Don't try to put on airs or be artificial. Just be
you.
As I said before, some will like you and like what you say -
others won't. But the ones that like you and like what you have
to say will flock around you and want more of you. The ones that
don't - well, tough, you can't please everybody. So don't even
try.
Just be you and let it all hang out. You'll find your niche.
This is the most important secret of Internet marketing. Find
your niche - your kind of people. Treat them right. Always go
the extra mile for them and from there on it's a piece of cake.
Try it. Just sit down and think of a friend. Write them a letter
about what you found to be a good deal on the Net. Be honest -
and guess what, you've just written your first article.
This is the way you recommend a product that you are an
affiliate for. Just write a letter to a friend telling what you
like about it. How it benefited you, and how it will benefit
them. That's all there is to it.
Your first few tries might be a little rough, but keep on
writing another and another. Practice makes perfect.
You are not trying to write the next great American novel.
You're just telling about an experience. Just telling a friend.
Think of it this way: If you went to a store and found something
you and your friend had been looking for, and it was a great
deal, you couldn't wait to get a hold of them and tell them
about it. You would be excited, enthusiastic and tell them to
get right down there and get one - and they would thank you and
appreciate you telling them.
It's no different here. Just tell it like it is, in your own
words, let 'you' show through. You can do it and it will work. I
guarantee it, as your friend.
