| The unknown masters of art
Paintings of the great masters can usually be seen on canvases
hanging on the walls of great museums. These pieces of art are
considered priceless paintings, that precautions are taken
seriously in order to avoid them falling into the wrong hands.
These are the paintings and the artists that have been given due
recognition for their craft. Who are these unknown artists?
The “big-time” artists. They do not just settle for the
conventional canvas that most artist use. They make their own
canvases. These are the large scale artists. And their canvas:
the street. The street as a medium for art work is as unique as
it is extraordinary. The artist uses his own style in drawing
pictures and using special techniques to put color into them.
Some devices their own chalks and color apparels to be able to
make beautiful creations on streets. As more people began to
appreciate the street paintings, more and more artists were got
into the habit. In some parts of the world, street painting
festivals are held. Showcasing paintings that are feasts to the
eyes, they border from simple drawings to life-like paintings
even 3-D pictures. Each painting depicts different personalities
and styles that the artist is known for. These are the artists
of the streets, street artists.
The “hidden” artists. They make quality pictures and have their
works displayed worldwide. Their works are the ones seen by
people as they search, open or simply browse through
information. Everyone with this high-tech gadget called the
computer can access these works of art. And companies,
businesses and individuals that needed their services are the
lucky recipients of these artists’ works.
These are the artists doing graphic designs for clients whether
in print or in the internet. The finished prints and drawings
look easy to make when people see them. The results are usually
catered to the clients’ preferences and more often than not,
they exceed expectations. From simple ideas and maybe even
thoughts, these artists can make them into reality.
Using state-of-the-art equipments, they develop concepts from
scratch, making them work for the idea and what they stand for.
Unlike other artists, they are the ones making ideas into
concrete images. Thoughts into visuals. And visions into works
of art. Unlike artists whose ideas come from inspiration and
exposure, they are the ones thinking of ideas for another
persons’ needs. They do not wait for the inspiration, they make
it.
So what makes these artists different from other artists?
Simple. They make art work.
