Web design is something that causes a lot of conflict because
what looks nice to some looks bad to others so you have to work
closely with your web designer.
A typical web designer will want to make the page look too nice
and pleasing to the eye but his is sometimes way too much for
the average user to digest.
There needs to be a balance between good coding and good design
integrating all the key features that you need to get traffic
from the search engines to your new site.
When you are looking for a new web designer to work with you it
is best to look very carefully through their portfolio as to see
if they do legal coding and make pages that are very functional
and not just pretty.
If you have a web design business and you take on a new clent
make sure you tell them what they need becuse when you are
talking to them you need to remember that you are the expert on
the subject.
Never give the option of three or more different page syles to
your client becuse you can be sure that they will always choose
the page design that looks the worst and will be most difficult
for you.
I have worked with several clients that have asked for one thing
when they actually meant another so you need to make sure you
are listening and dont just take their word for what they want
as this can cause problems when they see the design and its not
what they actually want.
